Bilateral venous duplex ultrasound.

Findings:
There is noncompressibility and lack of flow in the left popliteal vein. The remainder of the vessels demonstrate appropriate compressibility and flow.
Impression:
Acute deep venous thrombosis in the left popliteal vein.
Recommendations:
For your training purposes, recommendations are not included in this report.
Acuity
Urgent: non-routine communication within 4 hours
Urgent. The clinician should be notified of the deep venous thrombosis.
