Findings:
There is mild prominence of the sulci and cisterns. There is increased restriction along the central bilateral pons. There is corresponding hyperintensity on the T2/FLAIR sequence that spares the peripheral pons and some of the corticospinal tracts.
Impression:
Findings concerning for acute central pontine myelinolysis.
