65-male with uncontrolled diabetes presenting with pressure ulcer of the left heel with fever and leukocytosis.
Exam
X-ray of left foot.

Findings & Impressions
Findings:
There is significant soft tissue swelling. There is an ulcer crater at the inferior heel. There is erosion of the plantar cortex of the calcaneal tuberosity at the site of a large calcaneal enthesophyte. There is a superficial dressing over the left heel.
Impression:
Calcaneal osteomyelitis.
