Findings & Impressions
Findings:
Right cavitary lesions with upper lobe predominance, tree in bud opacities, and centrilobular nodules. The left lung is clear. There is no pleural effusion.
Impression:
Right lung airspace disease and cavitation compatible with post primary tuberculosis.
Recommendations:
For your training purposes, recommendations are not included in this report.
Acuity
Urgent: non-routine communication within 4 hours
Urgent: The ordering clinician should be notified of findings concerning for tuberculosis.
