Findings & Impressions
Findings:
Monitoring devices: The tip of the ETT projects at the level of the carina. A right sided PICC is in place with the tip terminating at the level of the superior cavoatrial junction. CV: Tortuous and atherosclerotic aorta. Severe coronary artery calcifications. Pulmonary: Right lower lobe consolidation with visible bronchi. There is visible debris in the right main bronchus, bronchus intermedius, and segmental bronchi. No pneumothorax. MSK: Partially visualized spinal fixation hardware. Upper abdomen: Granuloma in spleen. Renal cysts. Air and stool-filled loops of large bowel in visible portion of the upper abdomen. Neuro: Postsurgical thoracolumbar fixation changes. Moderate thoracic spine degenerative changes.
Impression:
Consolidation in the right lower lobe with debris in the right main bronchus consistent with aspiration pneumonia. Endotracheal tube at the level of the carina. Recommend retraction by 3 cm.
