Findings & Impressions
Findings:
The tracheostomy is 2cm above the carina. Diffuse, coalescent opacities in bilateral lung fields, worse on the right. The cardiac silhouette is stable in size. There may be a right pleural effusion.
Impression:
Bilateral pulmonary edema consistent with ARDS.
Recommendations:
For your training purposes, recommendations are not included in this report.
Acuity
Urgent: non-routine communication within 4 hours
The clinical team should be notified of the findings consistent with ARDS.
