Findings & Impressions
Findings:
Thoracic spine MRI: T2 hyperintense, faintly T1 hypointense lesion from T1 to T5, involving approximately 2/3 of the cord in the axial section. There is no diffusion restriction. No definite enhancement, significant canal stenosis, neuroforaminal compromise, or abnormal prevertebral soft tissues. No evidence of spinal cord neoplasm or syrinx.
Impression:
Thoracic spine findings suggestive of idiopathic acute transverse myelitis (possibly post-inflammatory/post-viral/post-vaccination ADEM).
Recommendations:
