Findings & Impressions
Findings:
Redemonstrated, innumerable, enhancing masses throughout the supratentorial and infratentorial brain. The masses demonstrate a heterogeneously high T2 signal and intrinsically high T1 signal with some regions of central susceptibility artifact. One of the masses in the left parietal lobe demonstrates a prominent cystic component measuring 3.5 x 2.0 x 2.6cm with a fluid/fluid level. There is a hyperintense enhancing focus in the left lateral ventricle. Most masses demonstrate associated vasogenic edema. There is mild mass effect on the occipital horn of the left lateral ventricle.
Impression:
Diffuse intracranial hemorrhagic metastatic melanoma with surrounding vasogenic edema.
