Findings & Impressions
Findings:
There are innumerable supratentorial and infratentorial enhancing masses. Many of the masses demonstrate intrinsic high attenuation reflecting hemorrhage. There is also extensive vasogenic edema surrounding the metastases. There are also small enhancing masses within the left ventricle. The posterior communicating arteries are hypoplastic, but may be entirely absent. The left P3 and P4 branches and right P3 are diminutive but without stenosis.
Impression:
Innumerable hemorrhagic metastatic metastases to the brain. These are likely from the patient’s melanoma considering their clinical history.
