Findings & Impressions
Findings:
There are low lung volumes with diffuse, but predominantly basilar fibrotic changes. There is also multifocal traction bronchiectasis throughout both lungs. There are numerous calcified pleural plaques scattered diffusely throughout the pleural surface.
There are enlarged mediastinal lymph nodes. For example, there is one measuring 1.3cm in the short axis in the right superior mediastinum. There is extensive coronary artery atherosclerosis. There is a moderately sized hiatal hernia.
Impression:
Fibrotic, primarily basilar interstitial lung disease with pleural plaques consistent with asbestosis. There are enlarged mediastinal lymph nodes which are likely reactive in etiology.

For your training purposes, recommendations are not included in this report.
