Findings & Impressions
Findings:
The ETT is well-positioned. The superior mediastinum is widened. The NG tube is looped in the distal esophagus. There is a low right lung volume with opacification and a right lower lateral rib fracture.
Impression:
Right hemithorax opacification which may represent a hemothorax and/or lung contusion. Superior mediastinum widening which may represent aortic injury. NGT looping in the distal esophagus.
