Findings & Impressions
Findings:
There is sigmoid colon arterial hemorrhage in the setting of significant sigmoid diverticulosis. There is bibasilar subsegmental atelectasis. There are cardiac pacer leads in appropriate positioning. There is an enlarged prostate with calcifications and radiation seeds. There is moderate stenosis of the superior mesenteric artery secondary to non-aneurysmal atherosclerosis. There is severe hip osteoarthritis.
Impression:
Findings consistent with acute bleeding diverticulosis. There is also moderate atherosclerotic narrowing of the proximal superior mesenteric artery.
