Findings & Impressions
Findings:
There is intrahepatic/extrahepatic ductal dilation, a distended gallbladder with common bile duct dilation, and diffuse pancreatic ductal dilation. There is a 1.5 x 1.0 cm hypodense mass in the pancreatic head concerning for a pancreatic malignancy, likely an adenocarcinoma, leading to biliary obstruction. There is no involvement of the celiac axis, SMA, splenic vein, or SMV. There are atherosclerotic calcifications in the abdominal aorta.
Impression:
Findings concerning for a pancreatic head adenocarcinoma leading to biliary obstruction and pancreatic duct dilation.
