Findings:
T1 weighed images demonstrate an area within segment 5 demonstrating heterogeneous signal density with isointense and hypointense components. On the T2 weighted sequences, the lesion has similar signal intensity to the liver with central T2 hyperintensity. Post-contrast T1 weighted imaging reveals that the lesion takes up contrast. The remainder of the liver parenchyma and upper abdominal solid organs are normal in appearance.

Impression:
Focal nodular hyperplasia within segment 5 of the liver.
