Findings & Impressions
Findings:
The liver demonstrates a cirrhotic nodular morphology. There is a large mass in the posterior right hepatic dome which demonstrates arterial enhancement and venous washout. The mass also has an enhancing pseudocapsule. The right portal vein is thrombosed. There is also thrombus extending into the right hepatic vein/IVC and right atrium. There is no biliary ductal dilatation. There is atherosclerotic disease of the aorta without an aneurysm.
Impression:
There is a large mass in the right hepatic dome consistent with HCC. There is also a tumor thrombus in the right portal vein, right hepatic vein and IVC extending into the right atrium. The thrombus is likely a combination of bland and tumor thrombus.
