Impression
Expert Answer
There is evidence of a lytic and sclerotic abnormality with irregularity and disruption of the trabecular pattern of the T11 more than T12 vertebral bodies and end plates from discitis-vertebral osteomyelitis, in this patient with fever and back pain. The slight widening of the left paravertebral soft tissues could be from edema, phlegmon, or abscess.
