FINDINGS

The technique is suboptimal - motion artifact, inaccurate contrast bolus, metallic artifact, etc.

MEDIASTINAL WINDOWS

The thyroid is enlarged.

There are focal lesions in the thyroid gland.

There is aortic arch and branching abnormality.

There is dissection of the aorta.

The heart is enlarged.

There is evidence of heart rupture.

There is cardiac aneurysm.

There is pleural or pericardial effusion.

There is mediastinal, hilar, or axillary adenopathy.

There is a small volume of residual thymic tissue which enhances homogenously.

There is mediastinal hematoma.

There is evidence of penetrating injury.

LUNG WINDOWS

There is focal air space opacity.

There is focal lucency in the lung to suggest laceration.

There are signs of aspiration.

The trachea/bronchi are small/large in caliber.

There is intraluminal filling defect bronchus/trachea/segmental bronchi.

There is pneumothorax/pneumomediastinum.

There is subcutaneous emphysema.

There are lung nodules/masses.

BONE WINDOWS

There are fractures.

There are lytic/blastic lesions.

LIVER INJURY SCALE

There is a grade I - V liver injury per the 2018 AAST Liver Injury Scale.

HEPATOBILIARY

There are focal hepatic lesions-laceration/hematoma in the left lobe/right lobe.

There is soft tissue/hematoma in the liver hilum/porta.

There is periportal hypodensity.

There is intrahepatic biliary ductal dilatation.

The CBD is dilated.

There is pseudoaneurysm in the liver.

There is subcapsular hematoma.

There is arterial blush in the liver parenchyma.

There is contrast extravasation on the delayed images.

Gallbladder is distended.

There is fluid in the gallbladder fossa.

PANCREATIC INJURY SCALE

There is a grade I - V pancreatic injury per the 2018 AAST Pancreatic Injury Scale.

PANCREAS

There is hypodensity/hematoma in the pancreas.

There is fluid/hemorrhage in the lesser sac.

The pancreatic duct is dilated.

There is heterogenous fluid collection/collection with fluid fluid level in the pancreas.

There is peripancreatic collection.

There is pancreatic transection/laceration.

The peripancreatic fat shows infiltration.

The pancreas is enlarged/small.

The pancreas is hyperenhancing.

SPLEEN INJURY SCALE

There is a grade I - V spleen injury per the 2018 AAST Spleen Injury Scale.

SPLEEN

The spleen is enlarged.

There is focal lesion (contusion/hematoma/laceration) in spleen.

There is pseudoaneurysm in the spleen.

There is subcapsular hematoma.

There is arterial blush in the splenic parenchyma.

There is contrast extravasation on the delayed images.

There is decreased perfusion to the spleen.

ADRENALS

The adrenal gland is enlarged (right or left).

There is hypodense mass in the adrenal gland.

The adrenal glands are hyperenhancing.

RENAL INJURY SCALE

There is a grade I - V renal injury per the 2018 AAST Renal Injury Scale.

KIDNEYS/URETERS

There is renal contusion/laceration/hematoma.

There is subcapsular hematoma.

There is retroperitoneal/perinephric collection.

There is arterial/venous extravasation in renal parenchyma.

There is vascular injury (vascular disruption/thrombosis).

On delayed imaging, there is contrast extravasation from the collecting system.

The perfusion to the kidneys is increased/decreased.

There is persistent ureteral enhancement.

PELVIC ORGANS/BLADDER

There are focal lesions in the ovaries/uterus/prostate.

The urinary bladder is collapsed.

There is contrast extravasation from the bladder into the soft tissues on delayed imaging.

There is contrast extravasation from the bladder into the peritoneal space on the delayed images.

There is a filling defect in the bladder.

The bladder was is thickened.

PERITONEUM

There is free fluid/hemorrhage in the peritoneum.

There is free/loculated air.

LYMPH NODES

There is intraabdominal/retroperitoneal/mesenteric/pelvic adenopathy.

VESSELS

There is dissection of aorta.

There is active extravasation of contrast from aorta.

Aorta is small in size.

IVC is small in caliber.

IVC is hyper enhancing.

There is hypodensity around the IVC.

GI TRACT

There is focal wall thickening/hematoma/intramural hematoma-duodenum/jejunum.

There is bowel obstruction.

There is focal mesenteric stranding/hematoma.

There is bowel perforation.

There is leakage of oral contrast.

There is focal ileus.

There is focal decreased bowel enhancement.

There is diffuse bowel wall thickening.

There is diffuse bowel wall enhancement.

SOFT TISSUES

There are foreign bodies.

There is laceration of the soft tissue.

There is anterior abdominal wall contusion/seat belt sign.
