Findings
Technique:
The technique is adequate for interpretation. The area of concern is indicated by the patient and included on the exam.
Soft Tissues:
There is an elbow joint effusion.
Bone:
There is displacement of the medial epicondyle ossification center. The distal humerus is otherwise normal. The proximal radius and ulna are normal.
Overall bone density is normal.
Growth plates, ossification centers, apophyses:
The growth plate for longitudinal growth is normal.
There is an avulsion fracture of the medial epicondyle of the humerus with mild medial displacement.
Joints and alignment:
There is an elbow joint effusion.
The subchondral bone of the distal humerus, proximal radius, and ulna is normal.
The joint is not malaligned.
Other findings:
The remainder of the exam is normal for age.
