Findings & Impressions
Findings:
There is a large and extensive pelvic abscess. There are also prominent, bilateral tubo-ovarian abscesses, greater in the left than right. There are also small radiopaque foreign bodies within the vagina of uncertain etiology. There is focal fat infiltration adjacent to the falciform ligament of the liver.
Impression:
Extensive pelvic abscess and bilateral TOAs. The pelvic abscess would be amenable to percutaneous drainage. There are multiple small, radiodense foreign bodies in the vagina of uncertain etiology for which correlation with physical exam findings is recommended.
