Findings:
There is an acute comminuted fracture of the L4 vertebral body with approximately 40% height loss and minimal left lateral wedging. There is calcified atherosclerosis of the abdominal aorta. There is straightening of the lumbar lordosis. There is multilevel facet osteoarthritis throughout the lower lumbar spine.
Impression:
Acute comminuted L4 vertebral body fracture.
