Findings & Impressions
Findings:
There is a centrally necrotic mass centered in the splenium of the corpus callosum and extending into the bilateral posterior parietal lobes with irregular peripheral contrast enhancement. There is partial effacement of the bilateral posterior lateral ventricles. There is mild adjacent bilateral posterior parietal vasogenic edema. The tumor measures 8x3.5x4.8cm in diameter. There is nodular, irregular enhancement along the posterior aspect of the septum pellucidum. There is also a small focus of T2 hyperintense signal and contrast enhancement along the right mid corona radiata.
Impression:
Centrally necrotic tumor centered in the splenium of the corpus callosum consistent with a glioblastoma. There is also T2 flair hyperintensity consistent with peritumoral edema. There is also a satellite lesion in the right corona radiata.
