Findings & Impressions
Findings:
There are extensive flowing syndesmophytes involving the entire spine from the lumbosacral junction to the level of C2 spine with ossification along the interspinous ligament. There is chronic ankylosis of the bilateral sacroiliac joints. There is moderate to severe right and mild left diffuse joint space narrowing of the hips which can be seen with ankylosis spondylitis. There are diffuse enthesopathic changes. There is no displaced acute fracture.
Impression:
Changes of ankylosing spondylitis involving the entire spine and sacroiliac joints. Moderate to severe right and mild left hip involvement with diffuse symmetric joint space narrowing.
