Findings & Impressions
Findings:
Mild perihilar vascular congestion with peribronchial cuffing. There are diffuse interstitial infiltrates. No cardiomegaly.
Impression:
Atypical pneumonia. Early pulmonary edema secondary to congestive heart failure is less likely considering the normal heart size.
Recommendations:
For your training purposes, recommendations are not included in this report.
Acuity
Routine: routine communication
The clinician should be notified of results consistent with atypical pneumonia.
