Findings & Impressions
Findings:
There is a 5.2 x 3.9cm posterior mediastinal mass centered at the left level of the left T3-T4 intervertebral foramen. The margins are smooth. There is no osseous involvement or extension into the vertebral canal.
There is an air cyst in the anterior left upper lobe. There is mild thoracic atherosclerosis. There are multivessel coronary artery calcifications. There is cholelithiasis with adenomyomatosis. There are multilevel degenerative changes of the spine.
Impression:
Paraspinal mass that is consistent with a schwannoma.
