Findings & Impressions
Findings:
The endotracheal tube is in the bronchus intermedius and results in right upper lobe atelectasis as the tube bypasses the right upper lobe bronchus. It also results in partial atelectasis and low volume of the entire left lung as it bypasses the left main bronchus.
Impression:
Right upper lobe atelectasis and low left lung volume secondary to malpositioned ETT.
