Findings & Impressions
Findings:
There is extensive extrahepatic and intrahepatic biliary ductal dilatation with a large gallstone sitting near the ampulla and measuring approximately 1.5x1.8cm. The common bile duct is dilated up to 2.4cm. There are some peripancreatic inflammatory changes without evidence of pancreatic ductal dilation or a peripancreatic fluid collection. There is hepatic granulomatosis. There are small hypodense lesions in bilateral kidneys representing benign renal cysts. There is colonic diverticulosis without diverticulitis. Moderate to severe degenerative changes in the lower lumbar spine.
Impression:
Choledocholithiasis causing extensive intra and extrahepatic biliary ductal dilatation and gallstone pancreatitis.
