Findings & Impressions
Findings:
There is moderate diffuse intrahepatic biliary ductal dilatation with multifocal areas of beading and intrahepatic structuring in the right and left ducts. There is an irregular high-grade stricture at the level of the hilum. There is extrahepatic biliary ductal dilatation with the CBD measuring 1.2 cm with abrupt tapering at the level of a distal common bile duct stricture in the lower third of the common bile duct.
There are multiple gallstones in the gallbladder.
There are several stable prominent peripancreatic and retroperitoneal lymph nodes.
Impression:
Multifocal areas of beading and stricturing of the intrahepatic and extrahepatic bile ducts with high-grade strictures at the level of the hilum and distal common bile duct. These findings are concerning for primary sclerosing cholangitis.
