Findings & Impressions
Findings:
There are marked tertiary contractions with esophageal and gastroesophageal reflux to the level of the aortic arch. The dysmotility causes significant decrease in transit time from the oropharynx into the gastroesophageal junction.
Impression:
‘Corkscrew’ appearance of the esophagus with severe esophageal dysmotility suggesting diffuse esophageal spasm. There is also significant GE junction narrowing.
Recommendations:
For your training purposes, recommendations are not included in this report.
